UNIVERSITY LIFE

So I've started college (can't you tell, from my lack of posts lately?) and I've just taken my last midterm yesterday for the next couple weeks, so I figured now would be a good time to talk about my experience here so far! After my busy summer, I moved into the university dorms and started my first year of college here at the UW. And while I'm enjoying the burgers and freedom to choose what I eat, I really do miss my mom's home cooking. A lot.

As for the general lifestyle, it's definitely a huge change from what I've known. School in the city is exactly what I expected it to be: busy. Aside from the massive amounts of studying I have to be doing, there are so many shops I want to visit and so many food places I want to try. But I guess I've got the next 4 years ahead of me for that!

My dorm is located in the northern part of campus, which is convenient for most of my classes. Though a few times a week, I do find myself walking over a mile to my astrobiology class, which is on the other side. But at least I get to walk through our liberal arts quad, which looks beautiful as the leaves turn orange.

And on a quick side note, I'm training Alex to be my on-campus blog photographer when my little sister isn't around, so all these photos are taken by him!
