ROMPING ABOUT

-THE HERB GARDEN & GREENHOUSE-

It's my last couple of days here at UW for freshman year, and I'm trying to savor every moment of living on campus, but it's hard when all you can eat on the weekends is pizza, and there are finals to be studied for. Still, the weather was almost 90 degrees today, so Alex and I took a walk around an old greenhouse behind the chemistry building, which is supposed to get re-done. Still, it made for a neat dystopian feel while we were walking around (at least until you hit the brand-new Burke Gilman trail).

Not used to this type of weather, I could've sworn my face was going to melt off in the heat. I didn't really want to worry about what I wore today, so I went for my favorite floral romper from Angie (flowers always manage to make it into my blog posts), and it's the perfect transition from spring to summer. This year, I've been trying to appreciate nature more, and walking through this little herb garden made me realize that I have no clue about anything botany, hence the confused face in the photo above.
