-LAKE WASHINGTON-
We headed out to Gas Works Park around noon and had some homemade sandwiches and Pringles while staring at the Seattle skyline. There was barely any shade to be found, and I when I started deeply regretting not bringing a hat, we walked around and looked at the old gas structures they decided to keep up. It's not the most interesting part of Seattle, but reading up on the history of the park, I found it fascinating that they wouldn't decide to tear down what used to pollute the area so terribly. The sun was a little too bright and the weather was a little too warm, so as Alex and I headed over to the parking lot, we decided to go canoeing on the lake by UW. I wish I had taken photos cause the water was so calm, but I can't risk getting the camera wet (oh well!).
