CLOUDY IN SEATTLE

-A MORNING AT THE LIBRARY-

My friend got a new camera a few weeks ago, so we went on a mini Seattle photoshoot at two of the more well-known settings for portraits. Most of the photos Anton took were of me, since he was practicing a bit of portrait photography, so it makes sense that most of the photos in this post were taken by him.

Typical of Seattle weather, it was cloudy and chilly-- definitely signs that summer is over and fall is coming in full force. We started our day at the Seattle Public Library, where I saw the most amazing plant print rug. This library is huge, and I definitely wouldn't mind studying here everyday if I had the chance. It has so many different sections and floors, and the aesthetic is top notch.

-SPECIALTY'S-

After taking a set of photos at the library, we walked over to a Specialty's (where I felt like I had betrayed Starbucks and Seattle as a city) where we ate sandwiches and coffee. Apparently it's a coffee chain store that has decent coffee, and it was one of the closest places where we could grab breakfast.
I think my favorite picture of myself was taken at this coffee shop, where the lighting and my hair was actually good, BUT I was making the derpiest face, so I had to turn to something else for my Facebook profile picture (sigh).

We ended up at UW later on in the day, where we took more photos (not included) and overall it was a really productive and fun day trip into the city we know best.
