MUSIC MONDAY #3

And here we are with another Music Monday! At work, I spend a good chunk of my day sitting in my cubicle doing paperwork (being a Documentation Specialist means staring at papers for hours on end), so I like to listen to some music while flipping through packets and recording information into databases. Given I work full time, this means I listen to hours of music a day, and I'm getting tired of my current playlists! 

Right now, I just have a generic playlist filled with Top 40, old K-pop, and the occasional throwback song. I'm in dire need of some fresh recommendations, so please hit me up with your current favorite song!

MUSIC MONDAY #2

I really don't listen to a lot of music, and I find it difficult to find new things to listen to since I'm super picky about these sorts of things. Spotify recommendations just aren't doing it, and I've found myself listening to the same 3 songs on repeat. Thankfully, though, with a little bit of help from my little sister and some people I've met, I've been introduced to some new tracks and albums!

The following playlist is not cohesive at all, but it's a bit of a sample of some new things that I've found lately. These songs aren't exactly the newest, but in case you haven't had a listen to any of these, here you go. I'm always up for suggestions, so if you have any music recommendations, let me know!

MUSIC MONDAY

-FINDING NEW MUSIC-

I don't listen to a lot of music, and when I'm in my car, I just tune in to the most popular Top 40 station in the area. A lot of people feel a really personal connection to the music they listen to, but I really don't find any attachment to the sound coming out of my earbuds. Even throughout high school, I didn't seek refuge in music, unlike most of my peers, and I stopped actively seeking new things to listen to in the 10th grade.

Still, that doesn't mean I don't like to listen to music. I'm always glad to listen to what my friends are listening to, and even though I'm not choosing the particular songs, you'll almost always find me working with music in the background. 

I've put together a playlist on Spotify that reflects what I've been listening to lately, including a couple recommendations from people, along with some songs I've heard on 92.5 (the radio station because I don't know what else to listen to).  It's quite possibly the most random playlist I've made, including half of Ariana Grande's new album, and a Chinese song from 2003 because it reminds me of when I lived in the Philippines. But hey, if you have any recommendations, let me know! I'd love to hear what you guys are listening to.
