HELLO, SPRING
Spring is finally here! And although that means allergy season, I'm glad that we're finally shifting to warmer weather. You can only cycle through the same sweaters so many times, and I'm excited to start wearing brighter colors again.
These photos come from my trip to Seattle last week with my cousin (who I hadn't seen for 9 years). March is when all the Washington cherry blossoms start to bloom, and we had to see for ourselves in the city.
But anyway, this season often marks a new beginning, and I'm more than glad to sort of start anew now that high school is coming to a close. I've been re-evaluating my friendships, and becoming more aware of the people that I surround myself with has taught me that connections/relationships can't be forced. Surrounding yourself with people whose company you don't enjoy is a waste of time and it's better spending more quality time with people you actually care about.
I tried "putting myself out there" and being social, but I've really just realized that I should stop spending time with people who consistently let me down and that I should start appreciating some other friendships more.
