Along with various baked goods, we've been buying food from outside since it's been too busy to cook. Plus, my attempts to be social are leading to more trips to restaurants with friends. Just today I went to McDonald's with my sister and friend; I know it's not the healthiest option, but sometimes the craving for junk food is just too powerful.
My sister also picked up this Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's and it's the greatest thing ever (dare I say better than Nutella?). So my food adventures weren't limited to restaurants; grocery stores are places where we seldom try anything new, so his was pretty different. We've always bought the same essentials over and over again, so I never really thought that just buying a jar of spread could make eating more fun.
I think that taking a cooking class at my school has opened up my perspective on food/cooking in general as well. I've never been one to cook, but this class makes it seem fairly easy, and talking about it with one of my friends makes it more fun, so maybe I'll try to start cooking now..
