A DAY IN THE PARK

The weather has been so beautiful during the weekends in the city. I've been told it's not usually like this, but I'm not complaining if it means I can step out without bundling up. My friend Justin moved into the city recently for his internship, so we spent a day just exploring and walking around a few neighborhoods.

On a sunny day like last Saturday, a park seemed like the perfect place to be. We made our way to Golden Gate Park to walk through the Conservatory of Flowers and the couple of museums that were there. I love seeing the palm trees all around the city (they're not the most popular trees in Seattle), and it was refreshing to see all the greenery in contrast to the glass buildings I see downtown during the workweek.
